Racing Telemetry is a companion app for Gran Turismo 7 that receives and analyzes real-time telemetry data broadcast by the game on your local network.
The app receives UDP telemetry packets broadcast by Gran Turismo 7 on your local Wi-Fi network. This data includes vehicle speed, RPM, gear, brake/throttle position, G-forces, wheel speeds, lap times, and 3D position coordinates within the game. No personally identifiable information is contained in or derived from this data.
Telemetry data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. This data never leaves your device. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The app uses network access solely to listen for UDP packets from Gran Turismo 7 on your local network. No outbound connections are made to external servers.
The app uses Firebase (Google) for crash reporting. Firebase may collect device identifiers and crash diagnostics. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
All locally stored telemetry data can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in Android settings.
